Vibhuti Rao is an Ayurveda clinician and researcher. She is well known for her work in female health, especially treating Menstrual and Ovulation related issues. Her work is remarkable in managing Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), female infertility and various psychological issues with Panchakarma, Ayurvedic medicines and fertility couple counselling.
During her bachelor's degree in Ayurvedic medicines and Surgery (BAMS), she has topped the University- Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore throughout the 4.5 years and bagged the highest three gold medals. She also received many academic awards such as "Jeevaka Award" from the Himalaya drug company and 'Pattaabhisheka Award' from Padma Bhusana -Poojneeya Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade throughout her academics.
She has been exposed to Ayurveda clinical practice under the eminent Ayurvedic experts. Later on she discovered her passion towards healing aspects of Yoga and so completed Master in Yoga science degree from a renowned Yoga University with a project on 'Role of Ayurveda and Yoga in PCOS'. She now continues to incorporate the wisdom of Yoga with Ayurveda to treat her patients in India and Australia. She also holds a Master degree in Public Health from Australia with a research project on Indian women's postpartum mental health in Australia.
She started her practice along with her husband Dr Samarth Rao and co-founded Green tree Ayurveda in Australia. Meanwhile, she started seeing patients from other parts of world and traveled to India quite often to see patients. Now, she practices at her clinics both in India and Australia.
Her passion in Ayurveda is towards Female Health specially in hormonal, metabolic and psychological issues such as- PCOD/PCO, fertility issues, Pregnancy with low AMH, pregnancy care, postnatal care, female mental Health and Irregular Periods also in promoting general health and well-being of a women. Her work on PCOS is well known among her patients who have benefited from her treatment. She is an associate member of The PCOS Society, where she is continuing to grow her knowledge in the recent PCOS research and advancement in medicines and alongside exploring the role of Ayurveda and Yoga in PCOS. She is also associated with PCOS Pathways, Australia as an advisory Ayurveda expert. She is continuing her PhD from Australia under the guidance of Australian PCOS experts from various fields.
Educating young girls about importance of fertility - PCOS, and mensuration is her priority. She encourages mothers of young girls to look after their diet and physical activity to support their health and well-being, and add Ayurveda to their life for example, choosing Ayurvedic medicines before taking hormonal tablets/treatments for irregular cycles. She believes in focusing on a healthy lifestyle which is essential for a woman to help her play different roles in her life. Moreover, she has helped lot of couples from India and overseas to conceive naturally, deliver healthy babies and restore their fertility with Ayurvedic medicines only. Apart from local and interstate patients, many of her patients are from other countries such as Australia, UAE, UK, Germany, Sweden, South Korea and the USA.
Along with her husband Dr. Samarth Rao, she has been spreading the word of Ayurveda by organizing Ayurveda workshops and short courses, writing for local magazines and raising awareness of Ayurveda by speaking in various conferences in India and Australia.
